JOEL A. KENNEDY
Senior Vice President, CFO


Joel has over 22 years of diversified management experience in financial reporting, mergers and acquisitions, risk management, administration and financial systems integration. Prior to joining Capstone, he was EVP, CFO with Centerprise Group, Inc. a Private-Equity backed business services consulting group specializing in tax and financial services consulting advice and products. Before joining Centerprise he served as a member of the founding management team as VP of Finance and Controller for B2B E-commerce internet startup Assetnation, Inc., (formerly SalvageSale, Inc.), a $50 million e-commerce business. During his tenure he led the financial reporting group and directed risk management for the on-line operations as well as directing Treasury, HR and all administrative departments. Prior to that endeavor he served as Controller with CMI, an $80 million healthcare subsidiary of Syncor International, where he led the financial reporting group and directed the finance team in integrating acquisitions and divisional operations. Finally, he began his career in public accounting with Price Waterhouse Coopers.

Joel earned his B.B.A. in Accounting from Lamar University and is a Certified Public Accountant. He is also a member of the Texas Society of CPA’s and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

 

CARLA  D.  HOMER
Treasurer


Carla joined Capstone in 1998 and serves as Treasurer with responsibility for corporate accounting and systems.  Prior to joining Capstone, Carla’s experience included mutual fund accounting and reporting for Transamerica and American Capital and governmental accounting for the University of Texas.

 

 

RICHARD A. NUNN
Chief Compliance Officer 


Dick joined Capstone Asset Management Company in 2004 after providing financial and compliance consulting services to Capstone since 2002. Dick oversees the compliance, and corporate financial functions of the Capstone companies. Dick began his career with Ernst & Young in 1968 before leaving in 1981 to become Vice President and Treasurer of Criterion Group, Inc. He subsequently was a trust operations officer at Texas Commerce Bank.

 

 

KIMBERLY  WALLIS
Assistant Vice President – Compliance


Kimberly is responsible for overseeing and implementing Capstone’s Compliance Program. Her duties include developing, implementing and monitoring internal policies and procedures to comply with professional rules and regulations, regulatory authorities and with the statutory state and federal laws.
